Our UPCOMING EVENT is our yearly Christmas Food Hampers.  Fundraising activities are currently underway towards the 2024 FOOD HAMPERS.  This year the event will run from Nov 25 to Dec 14 2024. 

Every year since 2008, we have been giving the children in all our Centres a Christmas food hamper.   The items in the hampers vary for each nation, but it contains 10-12 mainly non-perishable food items (for example - a bottle of drink, a pack of spaghetti; a bag of 1 kg rice, biscuits, baked beans, bag of salt, Pilchards, packs of Noodles each, Crisps & chocolates; a loaf of bread, and breakfast Cereals and so on).

Our mission at House of Wells is to help children and young people through education and to also feed them spiritually.  However, from 2008 when House of Wells was founded, it was evident that God also wanted the children fed physically, the instruction HE gave us was clear.    

Therefore, we feed the children daily when they come to any of our 36 Enrichment Centres across the 7 African nations, daily at all our TUITION CENTRES and at the end of the year we give them food packs so that they have something to eat around Christmas time.  As funds allow, we also give monthly grocery to a selected few, as and when needed, especially when staying in education depends on it.   

One of the reasons that the H.O.W was birthed is to restore hope in the lives of the children that we reach out to and inspire them to greater heights.  The End-of-Year food hamper is so much more than just “food”, it is hope-giving for those children. In the past few years, God has been faithful to fulfil this mandate through generous donations from various individuals, organisations and Churches.   

This year, we are raising funds to buy food packs for over 3000 children in the 7 countries that House of Wells currently exists - SOUTH AFRICA;ZIMBABWE; UGANDA; KENYA; NIGERIA;  MALAWI and GHANA. 

We would be eternally grateful if you can offer your support by contributing towards the Christmas Food Packs for as many children as you are led by God to bless  –  it is £5 per pack/child.  It is our prayer that as this year draws to a close, the help of God will unfailingly locate you and yours in Jesus’ mighty name.  

Please join us to feed and bring the Christmas joy to these children, many of whom are in vulnerable situations.  For children living in such an environment where, for some of them, their main meal of the day is provided at House of Wells Enrichment Centres, your gift of a food hamper is likely to be the only Christmas gift/food they will receive during the season.
